Ti used to stand for Turismo Internazionale, the label Alfa Romeo pinned on high-performance derivatives of standard production models - thoroughbred sports cars that could still be driven on the road.

Today it's used to denote limited-edition versions with special trim, such as the 156 2.0 Ti of which Alfa Romeo SA has secured 60 at R245 000 each.

From the outside the Ti is distinguished by its wide tyres, alloy wheels and side skirts; inside, it has leather sports configuration seats, leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob, together with special sill plates, black fascia, ceiling and mats.
