South Africa’s biggest classic car show, Cars in the Park, returns to Zwartkops Raceway near Pretoria on August 3, 2025.

Now brought to you by All Things Motoring, the 43rd Cars in the Park promises to be bigger and better than ever, with around 2,500 classic and special interest vehicles expected to grace the show grounds.

Although Cars in the Park is organised by the Pretoria Old Motor Club, it is open to other car clubs and associations, with more than 100 expected to display vehicles at the event.

The 2025 show will also feature special events, including a morning track drive for pre-1945 vintage cars.

“The motor clubs have always shown tremendous support for our show, and we are very aware of their importance to the old car movement,” said Frik Kraamwinkel, chief organiser of the event.

“The fascinating aspect of the clubs’ displays is that they showcase members’ cars which are often very old, sometimes dating back to the 1920s and earlier, right through to the modern era. A good example of this is the Mercedes-Benz Club,” Kraamwinkel added.

Private entries are also allowed; however, the vehicle must be older than 25 years.

This year’s show also includes an arts and crafts market as well as a flea market and food market.

Entry tickets for the show will cost R130 if purchased online, or R150 at the gate, with kids under the age of 12 entering for free.
