Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 winner Sweet Guluva (Akhonamathemba Mbele) mourns the loss of his sister, Lwazi Zwane.

#PrayforGuluva has been trending on X this week following the passing of Sweet Guluva's sister, Lwazi Zwane.

Sweet Guluva, real name Akhonamathemba Mbele, was the Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 winner.

According to a statement released by Sweet Guluva's management team, the family has requested time to mourn and process the loss.

Just recently, Sweet Guluva had been on a roll, making appearances on prominent platforms such as Macg's Podcast, L-tido's podcast, MTV, Gagasi FM, and 947FM, further solidifying his position as one of Mzansi's most beloved Big Brother housemates.

Since his win, Sweet Guluva has also earned favour with sponsors, and his sister's death has come as a huge blow. 

As news of Lwazi's passing spread, Sweet Guluva's fanbase took to social media to send messages of comfort and support.

Fans flooded his social media pages with heartfelt condolences and offered words of encouragement during this difficult time.

Former Big Brother Mzansi housemate Uyanda Hlangabezo also sent a heartfelt message, saying, "Be strong boizen, just know we support you during these difficult times." 

On X, fans and followers also poured out their condolences. User @Aluh88 wrote, "What sad news to wake up to about the passing of Lwazi Zwane. May God comfort the family during this very difficult & painful time. May she rest in eternal peace. I hope as the online community for Sweet Guluva we can pray for him & respect the family."

Another user, @ProudZuluWoman, sent a heartfelt message, saying, "Stay strong Akhona. Strength to your family. May your sister rest in heavenly peace.

While dealing with the loss, Sweet Guluva, with the love and support of his family, friends, and fans, he'll bounce back stronger.
