“Married at First Sight Mzansi” is coming back for a second season with the ultimate love hack: get matched by experts, meet at the altar, and say “I do” to a stranger.

If season one was anything to go by, season two won't just be a walk down the aisle!

Eight singles getting married at first sight to strangers, trusting four relationship experts to pair them with their ideal spouse.

Mzansi watched as couples Thami Nyandeni and  Zithobile Sibiya, Makhumo Ngobeni and Thabang Mvuyani, Khutso Mokoena and Litsoanelo Seturumane and Boitshepo Mashetla and Sebenzile Ngwenya went from “I love you” to “It’s complicated” in record time.

Some found chemistry while others found...character development. The couples were married for six weeks and had time to get to know each other on and off the screen.

These couples, Thami Nyandeni and Zithobile Sibiya, Thabang Mvuyane and Makhumo Ngobeni, Boitshepo Mashetla and Sebenzile Ngwenya, and Kutso Mokoena and Litsoanelo Seturumane, said ‘I do’ on screen during the first season of Married At First Sight Mzansi. Picture: Supplied

Season one captured viewers' attention; as the couples journey through getting married at first sight. The show played on DSTV’s channel 161 and Showmax, with episodes airing every Sunday.
