Sol Phenduka's viral blunders: Cassper Nyovest snubs and netizens' hilarious roasts

Sol Phenduka, a co-host on "Podcast and Chill with MacG", has become a trending topic on social media due to several viral videos featuring him.

In the first clip, a visibly intoxicated Phenduka can be seen walking up to award-winning rapper Cassper Nyovest at a gathering, shouting: "Nyoviyolus! Nyovi Nyooooooov!"

Nyovest gives Phenduka the cold shoulder, and eventually, his friends pull him away. 

Someone in the clip also shouts out: "Your bums are showing, Sol." 

Later in the clip, Phenduka is seen being called out by a fellow peer for "lying" about an overseas trip. 

The man says: "You don't look like a hater, you look like someone who is lying ... I'll show you the WhatsApp, you didn't go to China that day. The joke's on you Sol, I'll show you the evidence."

In another clip on X, which was shot in a parking lot, Phenduka tries to approach Nyovest again, but Nyovest once again ignores him.

Netizens are divided, with some calling it awkward and others suggesting it was deliberate payback for a past "Podcast and Chill" episode where Phenduka and host, MacG, engaged in a discussion about Nyovest and suggested he should retire from music.

MacG also called Nyovest "washed up". 

Phenduka concurred, adding: "Cassper is capable of better. We are putting the cart before the horse; we are worried about getting the right dance challenge, and songs can do well without dance challenges. South Africans love good music." 

Soon after that episode aired, Nyovest publicly refuted the claims and indicated his continued commitment to his career. 

Seeking to rise above the critiques, Nyovest also announced to his fans that he has plans to hold another highly-anticipated "Fill Up" concert.

Despite the snub, Phenduka still expressed admiration for Nyovest, saying: "I love you bro," while being ushered away.
