Actor Sipho Eric Ndlovu pens a heartfelt farewell to 'Isitha: The Enemy'.

Sipho Eric Ndlovu, the talented actor behind Bandze (also known as Bholodzi) in  "Isitha: The Enemy", has announced his departure from the popular show. 

Taking to social media, Ndlovu expressed his gratitude to fans for their unwavering support and love. “It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to people who have shown me so much love, support, and belief throughout my journey,” he said.

Ndlovu, a seasoned actor, scriptwriter, and content developer, has been a household name in South African television.

With a BA in Communications Degree, Ndlovu has showcased his versatility as an actor, bringing depth and his special touch to his characters. His notable roles include Sambulo in “The Wife”, Zembe in “Isibaya”, and Sizwe in “Muvhango”.

As Bandze, Ndlovu has captivated audiences with his portrayal of the complex and intriguing character. With his departure, fans will surely miss his presence on the show.

In a heartfelt post, Ndlovu thanked fans for being his rock. 

“From the very beginning, your encouragement gave me strength, your words lifted me during tough times, and your presence reminded me why I do what I do,” he wrote. 

He acknowledged that saying goodbye to the character wouldn't be easy, but reassured fans that this marks a new beginning in a different direction.

“As Bandze's character is coming to an end, please know that every moment we’ve shared will stay with me forever. This isn't the end - just a new beginning in a different direction. I'll carry your love with me always,” Ndlovu added.

The exit of the Mpumalanga-born actor has elicited mixed reactions from viewers, with some expressing sadness and others curious about the implications for both the character's storyline and the show's overall direction.

While @Annita Zukolwethu asked: “So sad, but then how are you going to exit?”

However, his message suggests that he is excited for the new opportunities that lie ahead. With a final message of appreciation, Ndlovu signed off, saying, “Thank you for everything.”

“Isitha: The Enemy” is a South African TV drama on e.tv. It started as a spin-off from “The Black Door”, showcasing how family relationships can be complicated, with struggles for power and loyalty. 

The show is about a close-knit family with lots of drama and secrets. People love watching it because of its exciting storylines and surprising twists. The drama series has captured the hearts of audiences across the country, making it one of the staples of South African television.
