Local rapper Cassper Nyovest is gearing up to make history again after the series of “Fill Up” events that have taken place in previous years.
The 2015 “Fill Up” was the first successful instalment, with the hit maker being the first local artist to do so without an international act.
Now, he is bringing his iconic “Fill Up” concert to the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, Free State, this December. The concert has become a benchmark for success in the South African music industry, and Nyovest is no stranger to pushing boundaries.
His 2015 show at The Dome was a game-changer, proving that a local artist could draw massive crowds without relying on international support. Now, he is taking that same energy to Bloemfontein.
The father of one’s music has always been about more than just the beats, often speaking for itself, it’s always been about sharing his come-up story with his fans, connecting with them and creating an experience that is unforgettable.
For fans, one of the experiences was the 2015 “Fill Up the Dome”.
The “Kusho Bani” hit maker took to his Instagram to announce the news on his Instagram, sending fans in the city into a frenzy.
With hits like “Mama I Made It” and “Tito Mboweni”, the rapper has built a loyal following across South Africa, and fans are eager to see him live.
“BLOEMFONTEIN!!!! Home of Masele!! (yah le nou), Home of the Free State Cheaters, Home of the 2nd Highest court in South Africa, Hosh Karamaima Capital (mare nna I’m married bathong), Centre of the FREE STATE!!! Bana ba ga Oumama!!!
"We heard you, kele utlwile… 06 December, Free State Stadium. RE ON ON ON!!! It’s official, Bloem is the next host for FILL UP!” his caption read.
The concert is set to take place at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, a venue that is sure to be packed to capacity, on December 6. One thing about Nyovest, he sure knows how to pull a crowd and keep it entertained.
Fans are already buzzing with excitement about the event, thanking him for finally hearing their cries. Tickets are also already available for purchase.
“THANK YOU!!!! 😭😭😭🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿” said @bridge_tlee. And @masedi_shaai commented: “THANK YOU 🙌. Finally I'll get to attend my first Fill Up!😭 I predicted the venue😭😭.”
His industry peers also congratulated him in the comment section, wishing him well as he embarks on his “Fill Up” journey.
The rapper is motivated by sceptics. Back in 2015, many questioned his ability to “fill up the dome”, but he proved them all wrong with a successful and historic show.
Now, after facing more doubts about his legendary status and his latest song “Kusho Bani”, which was initially not well received, he is taking the iconic event to Bloemfontein, proving that his impact is still fresh.
With his track record and dedication to his craft, Nyovest is sure to deliver an unforgettable experience for his fans once again.
