Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first in the third one-day international (ODI) against South Africa in Bloemfontein on Tuesday.

South Africa lead the five-match series 2-0.

A fast high-scoring match is anticipated in the day/night game where the average first innings scores has been around 250 runs in international matches.

South Africa scored a mammoth 351/6 in their previous match at the ground against Zimbabwe in 2010, an innings that was highlight by debutant centurion Colin Ingram.

Ingram has been included in the side and is one of two changes to the Proteas’ team.

Alviro Petersen opens the batting in place of Hashim Amla, at home for the birth of his first child, while Ingram comes in for Jacques Kallis who is being rested.

Sri Lanka are fielding an unchanged side from the second game.
