The drama that happens every Tuesday evening on Mzansi Magic's Utatakho is sometimes just plain sad. On Tuesday night we had such an episode, when we met Nosipho from Soweto who had to finally get closure and find out just who her real father is.

Here's a brief summary of Nosipho's problem:

The two options were Mandla and Sylvester, but Ntombizandile, Nosipho's mother insisted that the father was Mandla. This after Mandla's relationship with Nosipho deteriorated after the former heard this rumour stating he was not Nosipho's mother.

While this is the standard and expected drama on Utatakho, what all of us really didn't expect is that the level of candidness that one of the suspected fathers would expose us to. I mean Sylvester took honest to all kinds of levels.

It was Sylvester's version of events that had tweeps reeling, with many finding it rather unsavory that he used the words 'same day service' to describe his encounter with Nosipho's mother.

Shortly before that, Sylvester was accused by Ntombi of having gone to her home, gun in hand, and took her by force. He then got arrested, which then broke the chain of communication between the two. By this time, he was convinced that he was Nosipho's father, and Ntombizandile insisted she told him several times that she was not. Talk about drama!

By the time the DNA test results came back, there was all round glee on the timeline that Sylvester is indeed not Nosipho's father.

Utatakhoairs every Tuesday evening at 8 pm on Mzansi Magic channel 161.
